Hokkaido Ramen Santouka - Vancouver

I've had ramen all over Japan and Hokkaido, this place is like the real deal experience. The ramen is rich and well balanced. The pork good but could be a bit more tender. The staff very friendly in a typically japanese way. It's fun to eat at the counter looking directly into the kitchen (like in Japan)

One of my favourite places to eat. Even if I have 20 minutes break, they can do everything very fast with top notch quality. Dine in there often and bring my friends. Staff is amazing and super friendly, food is always fresh and delicious. Strongly recommend.

I had the shoyu ramen today and enjoyed it. The flavouring is quite nice, and enjoyed the texture of the ramen too. For $16+ a bowl of ramen, you get a small portion of ramen, one piece of meat with no egg included (egg costs $2.50 each).In my opinion, this price is pretty steep for the amount they serve and for the quality of the ramen you can easily get at other locations at a lower price.

I truly can’t understand how this place has such a high rate. Ambience is off, horrible music… I had a feeling like I’m trying to call to ICBC and waiting on the line for hours.Food wise, nothing special. Pork is bad there is no meats just pure fat. But whichever I was able to eat was very chewy. Noodles are so so, portion wise is so so.Conclusion: won’t come back and won’t recommend

Very very good, Ramen delicious, cutlet good, veggies nice. Didn't like the accompanying dipping sauce.
