In its class, this one is a winner. The plaza is shabby, the restaurant & decor is tired so you don't walk in expecting too much on that front. However, the people are nice & the place is this crazy combination of Indian sweets & treats, & it has a buffet! What User doesn't like about Himalaya:
Because of the many restaurants as well as Fruiticana in this strip mall parking is always a challenge and impossible during the lunch and dinner hours. Sarb's staff puts out the nicest naan in Richmond. Even after a decade I've only ordered the buffet ('cuz I'm such a cheap skate). What a cheaper way to feed your face.. View all feedback.

The quality is very poor and very bad taste.?no salt at all. The rice is watery and they probably serve straight from the freezer the heat it. Also the owner was asking for the tips
We visited from Ontario and I just can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Owners are so respectful and treated us like family. My son is 3 and only eats home cooked food and they accommodated all our requests and this is the only place from where he could be fed.I would give them 10 stars if I could…. I got Paneer Pakoras from here. The Tamarind was spilled in pakoras container. They should focus more on packaging for take out orders. Also I got stomach ache after eating these pakoras, probably they were not cooked completely.
The food is amazing and great. Samosas are always fresh jalebi is delicious. The stuff are very friendly. The owner is really nice and the prices are great.
