Went looking for a GF breakfast place while visiting. Pears were fantastic! Dedicated GF and everything was sooooo good! My partner is celiac and has no problem here. Very recommended. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Heirs Pears:
It is a good option for celiac disease, but I will say it is quite expensive. I don't like how much I like in a night out in a restaurant like cactus club eating a quick bite with pears. Paid by $27 after tax and tip for a bagel and muffin is quite ridiculous View all feedback.
Awesome food and coffee. if your Lucky like we were the chef may sing for you. He was so good. We loved the gluten free omelette and vegan GF roll. Yummy almond
Absolutely delightful breakfast experience! Pleasantly surprised to find this entirely gluten free restaurant across the street from our hotel. Their salmon bagel is to die for! So fluffy! The chef was so cheery and kind. You can tell love is going into their food. Cannot recommend enough!Dietary restrictions: Entirely gluten free with vegetarian and vegan options
We had GF meals here twice and loved it! Chef came by to visit both times. The staff are lovely and the Americano is delish!
Just fair warning it’s expensive and you can make a better cheaper gluten-free breakfast at home. Bland and utterly tasteless food. When you walk in they make you pay for the food first and expect a tip before you get into the place. And they clearly do that for a reason.I ordered the heirs pears breakfast. When my food arrive it looked okay, but as soon as I took bites it tasted like absolutely nothing, no seasoning, no flavour, and dry.My partner is a celiac so we were excited to check this place out but we were both super disappointed. $22 for a basic plate of basic ingredients. They even managed to remove the flavour from the hollandaise sauce (an incredible feat. Even their arugula salad was devoid of flavour and it was drenched in a sauce that removed taste. How you nullify the taste of arugula? Simply put (amazing! Also their coffee tasted like water. Bean water. We spent $80 between us and left we uneaten plates, no refund because they make you pay for it first.
I was really looking forward to trying out this restaurant. I have celiac disease, so I was eager to see what options they had for me. Upon arrival, we were required to pay upfront, similar to a fast food establishment. Our food arrived quickly, but unfortunately, it was a major letdown. My fiancé's breakfast was very bland - the gluten-free toast was dry and lacked butter, the sauce had no flavor, and even the sausage was lacking in taste. My dish, which featured chorizo and spicy mayo, only had flavor from the mayo. We also ordered an arugula salad, but the beets tasted canned, the candied walnuts were soft, and the feta cheese was minimal. The excessive sauce on the salad drowned out any potential flavor from the arugula, making it soupy. Since we paid in advance and no staff checked on us, I was left feeling disappointed. Even my Americano was lacking in flavor, tasting like cream and sugar in water. It was a real shame to have such a bland dining experience. I wish someone had warned me beforehand so I didn't waste my money and time here.
