We went to visit on Victoria Day so we paid $26/person for the full All You Can Eat option. The sashimi was generous and very fresh! I wasn't too fond of their fried tentacles or chicken cutlet, but their shrimp tempura and chicken karaage were done nicely. Included in their full All You Can Eat option are some sushi selections such as Octopus and Toro. However, the way it was listed on the menu, we assumed it was sa... View all feedback.

First off, not Japanese run. Secondly, "all you can eat" is not a good sign. Besides those points I still went in. The sushi is cheap not in price and quality. If you have a craving just to fill and not looking for quality this will be your place. Beside the below average sushi, I would recommend this place to grab some beers and order a lot of appetizers, grilled and fried items. Those were yum and inexpensive and the sushi was yuck, thus the yumuck.
I heard about the freshness of Sushi in Vancouver so thought that I needed to try it out. This restaurant did not disappoint. It was busy, filled with your people, the food was fresh and the service was good. Would recommend it for a good lunch or dinner. Sushi combos are reasonable priced and if you have a big appetite they even have an all you can eat. The decor is just average but the food is good so I would definitely recommend it.
Let me start by saying that im not a sushi fan despite my love of asian food. my wife however raved about the sushimi at this place and it was the best sushi she has ever had in her life. I stuck to the springrolls.

However, the way it was listed on the menu, we assumed it was sashimi so take note, it is in fact a sushi piece. Out of everythinf we ordered (sashimi, rolls, sushi, cooked food,) it was a unanimous call that their salmon sashimi was the most fresh, enjoyable dish that evening.
I go to hato popo for all my sushi needs because it is so close to my house and open late, they also have the best prices for AYCE. The sushi is always fresh but I feel when It comes to items in the kitchen they put less care into them. Come for the price, stay for the sushi. Dont suggest ordering off the kitchen menu. Staff is super nice!
