My favorite spot for Japanese bento boxes, I can't resist the authentic Japanese atmosphere at this place. It's always crowded and has become even more popular in recent years. Kudos to the restaurant for that! They offer a fantastic selection of bentos, sushi, dons, and curry. And for those who want to make Japanese food at home or enjoy Japanese snacks, they also sell groceries. It's a really relaxed and cool place... View all feedback.
What Tuka m doesn't like about Fujiya Japanese Foods:
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. It was my first time in the store so I purchased a variety of snacks and food. I asked the cashier lady if I could get one more soy sauce packet as one of my prawn sushi sandwich didn’t have any, and she said it was 10 cents in an annoyed fashion. I couldn’t believe it. How cheap and stingy can a place be? First and last time there. Please be more generous and kind with y... View all feedback.
This is a fantastic spot to find imported Japanese food items, delicious bento boxes during lunch hours, and sometimes even unique kitchen gadgets.
Probably the best Japanese grocery store in Vancouver. An excellent selection of ready to eat sushi and bento. You can buy all the Japanese items you never knew existed. Fresh made salads and ready to cook items also. Lots of staff to help you. Service is great. If your fortunate they will put all the sushi etc on at 50% off at the end of the day.
Wow is all I can say. The Japanese foods that they have under one roof are amazing. It is like being in a Japanese supermarket and they have all sorts of sushi and prepared foods to eat both on site and to take out. Yummy.
This is a small store but has the essentials and makes a large variety of take out food. We found out they supply take out food for the Fujiya store on Pender downtown. We went to the downtown store to find it sold out and they said to try the one on Clark. The quality is very high and at a cheap price. We bought enough for several meals.
It's not a restaurant. It's more of a Japanese grocery/deli joint with a take out service. There is minimal seating.Flavour:- fresh fish and sushi...they are busy therefore u know inventory movesValue:- relatively speaking given that it ain't a resto...the prices are better. You can have a 9 pcs nigiri combo for under $10Portions:- better than other wanna be Japanese sushi placesDefinitely will drop by if I'm in the area but I won't go out of my way to travel.Cali roll for $2.95 see pic...9pcs
