What Anonym dislikes about Five Sails:
Their services was first-class, they made an effort in providing special accommodation for my girlfriend and I since it was our anniversary. The price was a bit on the expensive side for the food, but the services made it worth while. Unfortunately, there was some issue with our foods that sort of ruined the evening but overall the dining expereince was enjoyable. View all feedback.
Food, service, and view were amazing! Definitely would recommend to tourists and locals alike!
My experience at the Five Sails restaurant in Vancouver was exceptional. I brought my girlfriend there for her first visit to the city and we were both amazed by the breathtaking view of Coal Harbour, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Stanley Park, the mountains, and the ocean. The food was delicious, with fresh B.C. Halibut satisfying our appetites and the mouthwatering appetizers like shrimp and carrot soup served in espresso cups. For dessert, we enjoyed an apple strudel with pistachio ice cream. The wine selection, particularly the aromatic zinfandel, complemented the meal perfectly. The service was professional and attentive, making for a romantic and intimate evening. The staff even went above and beyond to accommodate a special request of mine to surprise my girlfriend. Overall, our experience at Five Sails Restaurant was unforgettable and I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend it for a romantic night out with your significant other.
My partner and I had a wonderful date night at Five Sails during our recent visit to Vancouver. The restaurant is located in the beautiful Pan Pacific Hotel, with live music at the Oceans bar below setting a great atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and attentive, seating us at a romantic table overlooking the harbor within minutes of our arrival. Our waiter was friendly and prompt, serving us delicious mojitos and fresh sourdough bread to start the evening off right. The service continued to be excellent throughout the night, with our plates cleared promptly and our drinks refilled without having to ask. The food was outstanding, with my wife enjoying the slow-braised Veal Cheeks and myself savoring the Halibut with Lobster knuckles, both from the daily specials menu. The portion sizes were typical for a fine dining establishment, ensuring we left satisfied. Dessert was equally delightful and served quickly. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our experience at Five Sails and will definitely return on our next trip to Vancouver.
Went there for dinner with my wife and two other couples.first the view was incredible but the service and the food was even better. I highly recommend this place as a must for anyone visiting Vancouver
The restaurant I’ve been looking forward to visiting the most during the Dine Out festivities is Five Sails, and it definitely did not disappoint! Located in the Pan Pacific Hotel, the restaurant is elegant and classy, overlooking the Canada Place sails and the water. Service is also outstanding, our server was professional but also warm and friendly; unlike many fine dining places that make me feel like a kid with their pretentious snobby service...
