Being further west than other brewpubs makes it work well for me.

But this time, when we walk... read more We've walked by Faculty Brewing a dozen times and every time it's been packed. It's not a big brewery to begin with so there's that. But this time, when we walked by, there was a table for the 3 of us. Good thing we went in cause their beer was delicious. I ordered the black IPA and I was impressed by the flavour. We also ordered a pepperoni stick to share but it wasn't as good as the ones found at Brassneck Brewing.

The beer is excellent, and while t... read more We're fortunate to live near a brewery hotspot on Main, but Faculty Brewing Co is my top pick (with 33 Acres a close second). The beer is excellent, and while the selection is extensive, the taps rotate often, usually offering 4-5 varieties at a time. Flights of four beers are available, which is great if you can’t decide. They offer some pub snacks like cheese, sausages, and nachos, and on weekends there's often a food truck outside. The atmosphere and staff are fantastic—it's always a lively spot. Because it’s popular and seating is limited, expect a queue on Friday or Saturday nights and sunny weekends, but the turnover is quick. I’d love to see the taproom expand and maybe add outdoor seating in the future. Their beer is available at a few other places, but it tastes best fresh from the taproom. They also offer growler refills. I highly recommend this place and even suggest doing a brewery pub crawl around the nearby spots.

Very light snacks... read more Faculty is a fun, on-trend room with communal seating and a festive atmosphere. Go if you like tasting beer, people watching and light snacks. Very light snacks. It's more about the beer than the pretzel or charcuterie. In the summer months, once a week you...can get your bike tuned up outside, while you sip your brew inside. It's a boisterous, cheerful, playful little place. Go and see for yourself!
