Good service and food. Turned the lights down a few times during happy hour so bit tricky to see. No tp in the women's stall. I'd go back but check the roll first! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Guapo:
It was bad! I only gave them 3 stars for service because the girl who served us was nice. Place is kind of old and dirty with hanging dirt in the corners. Nachos were OK, though the dip portions were very small. We also ordered chicken and beef fajitas which were a total disaster. Chicken was low grade meat with bones and skin in it. Beef was absolutely uneatable (just a piece of rubber sole). I couldn't chew it and... View all feedback.
Delicious. Arrived by chance after walking around and was very impressed. Portions were smaller than we are used to, but quality makes up for it. Really cool atmosphere, wonderful staff. Our group of 12 had a great meal and experience. If I could make one recommendation it would be to have chips and salsa available for the tables. With smaller portions, the chips and salsa would help.
Decent happy hour prices but great vibe for sure. Food was good too!
Came here with a group of friends. I ordered a mezcal margarita from the menu listed for $16.25. The server brought me a mezcal margarita and then charged for a $22 drink. When he brought the bill I told him he charged me for the wrong thing. He told me the drink costs $22 and that it’s an old menu. He said “you ordered the drink, I made the drink, and we are now laughing”. I asked him to give me the menu price and he refused. Just a warning for everyone that the menu is inaccurate. Atmosphere and food was good but server didn’t really care about us/our experience
I went for a date here and it was literally the perfect first date spot! The food was delicious, the service was great and Adam the manager was extremely helpful when I forgot my phone at the table and had to come back for it. Just order a bunch of food and go to town, everything we had was great!
When it came time to pay, I noticed that we were charged full price for an appetizer ordered during happy hour. The server initially insisted we ordered it after happy hour until we clarified. Despite this, she said it was too late to correct the bill as it had already been paid. When the adjusted bill came, I noticed I was still being charged more than the happy hour price. The server was irritated when I pointed this out and blamed her manager for the error. I did not have a good experience at El Guapo and would not recommend it, especially for those with dietary restrictions. The server had minimal knowledge on how to safely cater to gluten-free guests. It's not worth the risk to give this restaurant another try.
