If you haven't stopped by Dylan's for breakfast or lunch, give it a try. The food is super, At least we enjoyed the two dishes we had. Omelettes are filling and cooked beautifully. Hashbrowns are great, cooked traditionally on a grill, with enough crispiness to give the ordinary, a little kick. As restaurant chains become more and more prevalent in this city, it's nice to find ones privately owned and operated. This... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dylan's:
Nice little place to have breakfast. I ordered my usual soft poached eggs, brown toast and sausage. Overall it was an enjoyable experience, the host is not overly enthusiastic, but the atmosphere of community folks around really makes this place comfortable. The food is pretty good too, and my eggs were perfect. They don't have brown toast, they have whole grain, not the best for seniors and people like me with tummy... View all feedback.
I frequently visit this restaurant and always order Dylan's Big Breakfast (eggs, bacon, hash browns). The scrambled eggs were delicious, and I had the option of crispy bacon and a generous serving of hash browns. The food is comparable to Helen's Grill, but with better service. I recommend this place. Update 3/21/17: I stopped by for lunch while in the area, but was put off when the server asked if I knew what I wanted as soon as I sat down with the menu. I ordered the special Roast Beef with gravy and fries, but the fries were overcooked and the bread under the roast beef was soggy. Despite this, I still recommend this place.
I decided to visit this breakfast spot after a friend recommended it. I ordered the cinnamon French toast, while my friend opted for the Eggs Benedict. Unfortunately, my breakfast was not particularly impressive and could have been found for a lower price at Evelyn's Cafe. My friend's Eggs Benedict was also disappointing, as the muffin tasted stale. I may give this place another try in the future, but there are definitely other places I would choose over this one without hesitation.
We gathered with some friends at this cozy diner for a casual breakfast. Our group consisted of 9 people, and we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. The server informed us that due to the size of our group, they were unable to make French toast, pancakes, or omelets as their grill was not large enough to accommodate all of our orders at once. While we found this to be a bit odd, we didn't inquire further and ordered other items instead.
Exactly what you want when you visit an older diner. Coffee is endless, food is delicious, and the server is incredibly good at balancing all 20 tables with care and efficiency. Super cozy, my go-to spot for a nostalgic meal.
Decided to try take out from this place since I was in the area. Food was great! Had a sandwich and soup. Not sure if I would sit in the place needs a little love (maybe opt out of plastic tablecloths) but is clean and the person at the front was welcoming. Will be back to pickup some food for our next picnic out!
