Just upstairs from T&T, almost hidden in plain sight is Duotian, expect a lineup, but the tables turn fast. Step inside and settle into comfortable booth like tables, we sat 9 at ours, service is lightning fast, see the pics for the Menu. Prices are wallet friendly, we fed 9 for less than $10 per person, no one went away hungry. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Duotian Fish Soup Noodles Restaurant:
We took the long route hiking to Norvan falls so we missed lunch so headed back for an early dinner. We had the chicken fried rice - standard, chicken cutlet - ok, beef brisket/tendon noodles - spicy, fried chicken sandwich with fries - good, fries crispy, crust cut off sandwich, ramen noodles with BBQ pork - ok and baked seafood rice - also ok. Hungry so food was satisfying enough and not expensive. View all feedback.
Duotian reminds me of a typical HK-style café that you would find in Hong Kong. Extensive menus with many meals/combos it is almost overwhelming. Try the spicy halibut and wing for appetizer. Halibut was too fishy and would not recommend the two wings had a nice taste, crispy skin and plump. For the net, Singapore ordered noodles and fish soup. Both were large portions and tasted great, could not finish everything and took some of the noodles home. Both articles also included a drink ordered icy ovaltine, a rebate to the 80s refreshing. Service was fast and efficient, and ambience was like a busy café with many tables and some stands. Duotian comes highly recommended if you are looking for cheap food, they also have some "happy hour like plate specialities before lunch and in the middle of the afternoon.
The first time in this restaurant.. Typical Hong Kong Art Café... but they focus more on noodles tonpot rice. There are some Western dishes. Menu is not extensive... Self ordering in a laminated order menu concept is great. I strongly advise you to take some time to read the order form. It's self-explaining, but not rushing. They give you these colored non-permanent markers to tick what you want. Hot tea or coffee goes with it...$1 more for cold drinks. Noodles has different soup base for you to choose... 2 pieces meat selection... choose the type of noodles you want, some noodles cost extra $1. There are supplements you can order with your noodles soup cost is extra. Claypot rice was good, again... a pretty good choice to choose from. Come in a tone pot with a small container of sauce pour into rice. Well cooked Chinese sausage was nicely cooked... I enjoyed the meal a lot
Pepper steak and spaghetti was excellent with beautiful sauce and pepper taste. Wife had lamb hot pot with leftover
This is my first stop after a long flight in Vancouver before most restaurants are opened for business! I'm not sorry my family chose the Duotian Fish Soup Noodles restaurant to bring me. All I wanted to eat was a good food, fast delivery, in a clean environment with good service at a reasonable price! Is that too much? For this day and age, I definitely give this restaurant a passing sign for their extensive menu, where there must be at least 150 dishes or items! The food was pretty tasty and I didn't mind getting this **** for less than $30, for 3 adults! Each family member had a different form of congée (rice broth) for each $7.25 and shared the Pan Fried Green Onion Cake. I cannot price Chinese tea with 50 cents per person 'knock'. I was able to have lunch because my simple meal was quite full. At 9:00 a.m. on Saturday the restaurant was already very busy! Parking on this stripe shopping mall might be hard to come! For the crowd of customers who eat here; the waiters work as fast as they could clean the dishes and clean the tables. There's no hesitation here again!
