While visiting Vancouver, we had to hit up Dougie Dog. It's a cool little spot, basic atmosphere and decor. The staff are really polite and fun, and Dougie himself came in and chatted for a bit while we were there.I had a dog with jalepenos and other spicy goodness, my wife had something much more traditional. We went to the Londsdale Quay market tonight. There were a lot of fabulous food trucks to choose from. I decided on Dougies food truck. 9 dollars for a day old bun, cold skinny hot dog with dry mac and cheese on top is not what I was expecting. The bacon was cooked well but couldn't stand alone. So sad because the last time I ate at this food truck it was wonderful and way less expensive. Not too sure what has happen... View all feedback.
Visited him in Whistler during Gran Fondo. Had the Mac and cheese dog was excellent and the service was fantastic as well. Highly Recommend

I had a poutine dog at the Dougie Dog food truck at the Calgary Stampede. It had all of 1 cheese curd on it with runny gravy that tasted like it was from a grocery store package. The bun was dry on the ends. For $9 I expected an amazing hot dog I should have bought a regular hotdog somewhere else and poured some fries on top it would have been better. I wont waste my money on food from here next time.
I thought $8 was expensive for a hot dog with one piece of bacon and what turned out to be horrible Mac n Cheese and I wish I had listened to myself. The bun was doughy and chewy, totally overwhelming the dog, which was rather bland. No flavour jumped out from the dog or the Mac N Cheese. Very boring. Don't waste your money.
Hard to write a review on this..lets me just say this is a MUST try when in Vancouver. Absolutely amazing!!!!
