Dosa Hut - Vancouver

We spotted the Dosa Hut as we were driving by and decided to give it a try for lunch - it was excellent! Beautiful, delicate dosa crust with yummy filling. I had the masala dosa and my husband had a lamb dosa. Very friendly quick service, comfy room. Unfortunately no liquor license, but great chai.

The owner and staff are absolutely delightful at this humble South Indian eatery deep in an area normally bereft of any kind of eating options. The menu offers all of the standards, the prices are affordable, but unfortunately, the food quality falls far short of expectations.(Note that the address is 7233 Fraser Street.)

My seafood with nilagiri sauce came out hot and fresh. It was mostly prawns rather than a mix of seafood. The taste was good. Service was a bit slow and not as attentive as I had hoped. They seemed to be short staffed when we were there. We might come back to try other items.

Worst food ever i eat in dosa hut.I strongly recommend to everyone please don't waste your time or money to eat food here.King fish curry was very bad .King fish was very old and one of the chutney spoiled.Dosa was cold.Momo was good but the rest of food worst to eat.

Do not order king fish curry. It is really fishy smell and yakee taste. Even I throw up one bite. I told the waitress but nothing hear from her. Just waste my money. Butter chicken and prawn binali are fine bit they do not have any servicemind.
