read moreDespite welcoming service and excellent food, the restaurant was marred by slow service, small portions, and a lack of attention to detail. The location is convenient, but the atmosphere is stuck in the 90s. Desserts are average at best and the restaurant seems to be severely understaffed. While the food was hot and tasty, other aspects of the dining experience left much to be desired. The restaurant is trying to live up to a history of high ratings, but has not quite reached that level yet. Some issues with the bar service and portion sizes were noted. However, there is hope for improvement if staff levels and attention to detail are addressed. The location, atmosphere, and food quality have great potential. Despite these shortcomings, the restaurant has the potential to become a standout in the Vancouver dining scene.
