Was Anonym at Doc's Pizza a mag?
Doc's pizza is well-made. Great crust, good quality cheese, and I don't know why but you eat it and it feels way lighter than most pizza joints (a good thing). The only thing I have found is that if you ask for extra-sauce you get as much sauce as you would normally expect. If you don't like your pizza dry, ask for extra-sauce and you will be very happy with the results. This is heads and shoulders above fresh slice,... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Doc's Pizza:
I like going here because the owner is rad, but the pizza is not great. It has good hours, and is one of the only places open late on lower lonsdale- but the whole area really needs to step up the late night pizza game. View all feedback.
I would not recommend purchasing the sandwiches at this restaurant. They are mostly bread and lettuce with very little bacon. I called the store to ask about it and was told that the bacon shrinks when cooked, then they hung up on me.
I called in an order for BBQ wings for pickup, but when I arrived after thirty minutes, the wings were still being cooked and were served hot instead of BBQ. When I informed the staff, they snapped back at me and proceeded to rinse the wings in water. Upon returning home, my girlfriend and I found the food to be disgusting and ended up throwing it away. We decided to go to McDonald's instead. Although the pizza was okay, there are better options available at a lower price elsewhere. It's best to avoid this restaurant's food altogether.
The pizza at this restaurant has paper-thin dough that doesn't rise at all, more like flatbread. There are very few toppings and it is not worth the price. Overall, it's not a real pizza, more like Iranian pizza and not good.
I love Doc’s pizza! The Special is my favourite with just the right amount of toppings. The crust is crispy while the slice has a bit of chew. The best pizza in North Vancouver by far??
