DDMau offers a charming ambiance with its rustic yet modern decor, making it a delightful spot for Vietnamese cuisine lovers. While some dishes like the BBQ Duck Banh Mi and duck salad rolls receive rave reviews for their incredible flavors and fresh ingredients, others, like certain spring rolls and noodle bowls, have sparked disappointment due to inconsistency. I wasn't too impressed with the BBQ duck banh mi; perhaps I should have opted for the lemongrass chicken instead.
I ordered the $5.00 Tofu salad rolls and the $3.00 Kale salad. When I went up to the counter to order, the staff asked if I wanted the salad roll.
Hearing so many great things about the bread they use in the bahn mi here I had to try it for myself. They were also featured on, ‘You Gotta Eat Here’. So I literally had to eat her to find out WHY! Although it is on average a bit pricier than your average bahn mi at Vietnamese sandwich shops but after my first bite I now know why!
