Was T C at Daybreakers a mag?
I was wandering by on a Friday night with some friends when I noticed a guy playing guitar. The atmosphere was fantastic, so we decided to give the place a try. I had only been there for breakfast before, but it seemed like they had introduced a new evening menu. My friends and I were feeling hungry and curious about the food, so we ordered a few dishes: the sausage and mash, Italian pork schnitzel, and meatloaf. It... View all feedback.
What M&b D dislikes about Daybreakers:
Given our experience with the new management, it seems unlikely we'll be coming back. In any industry, particularly in hospitality, excellent customer service is essential. If you truly want to ensure that your loyal customers have a pleasant experience, it may be time to rethink these new "house rules." View all feedback.

I stopped by to try the new menu and had the schnitzel sandwich along with a refreshing ice-cold lager. It was absolutely perfect and very satisfying. I noticed some eggs Benedict being served at another table, and since they offer all-day breakfast, I definitely plan to come back next week to try those! This is a fantastic new addition to the area!
We used to love going there for early Sunday brunch. The food and service were always fantastic. Unfortunately, after our visit today, we’re feeling quite disappointed. We’re not sure if it’s due to the change in ownership, but we waited 40 minutes before anyone took our order. The potatoes served with the eggs Benedict were minimal, the French toast wasn’t warm, and the orange juice didn’t taste good. Additionally, the service was very slow, especially considering it was only 9:30 AM on a Sunday—not the busiest time. We might give it one more try in a few weeks, but it certainly seems that the change in ownership has affected things. They also appear to be understaffed. Please, bring back the previous vibe of the Tangent Café!
This used to be the best restaurant, but it has recently changed ownership. They've eliminated the live jazz, the craft beer selection, and the Malaysian dishes. The current menu is quite basic and unappealing. There's no longer any reason to visit when there are so many great and interesting places nearby that offer live music and more.
I visited this restaurant for the first time today, and I'm unsure if I'll return. The host was very friendly, and I was quickly offered coffee and water after sitting down. The food was decent—neither amazing nor terrible. After finishing our meals, my friend and I decided to move to a quieter table since a loud group had sat next to us. While our server allowed us to move, she didn't bring our waters or coffees with us. I ordered a mimosa, but halfway through, I was abruptly told it was the brunch rush and asked if I wanted the bill. I would have ordered another drink and possibly tried a dessert, but it was clear they wanted us to leave, so we just settled the bill and left.
