Stumbled upon it while walking around Gastown. Got the BLT and I could taste how garden fresh the tomatoes were. Thick slices of bacon. Great coffee and the service was fast and friendly. Cheap prices as well! View all feedback.

Nice little place with panoramic views over the railway sidings. Lovely gent running it although wasn’t made to feel overly welcome and ignored on way out. The lack of matching crockery was a surprise and food only alright for the price. Good job it wasn’t busy. View all feedback.
Excellent no frills deli run by a couple of elderly gentlemen. Great value tasty sandwiches. Nice seating area outside with a view.
I popped in for a coffee and discovered a charming little spot with a fantastic view of the harbor. Although I didn't try any food, the service was excellent. My coffee was delivered to me on the second floor. This is a wonderful spot for reading or if you're looking for some peace and quiet.
Traditional soup and sandwich spots are not easy to come by in Vancouver, but the Cottage Deli Shop in Gastown has successfully retained its nostalgic charm from the 1980s that I adore. Despite the ever-changing landscape of the city, this deli has managed to keep its old-fashioned ambiance, making it a lunchtime hidden gem.
A small, hidden treasure with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs!
If you’re a tourist and looking for some diverse, trendy place with a 10 page menu, this is not the place for you! I was walking through Gas Town and thinking to myself, it’s pretty touristy here, yet I was hungry and looking for a cute little place when I walked by a billboard pointing me in the direction of the water. I quickly checked reviews on this restaurant and they were very good. I went in and an elderly gentleman took my order right away. Had I been time swept into the year 1995? Because a soup and sandwich was under $10! I couldn’t believe my eyes, and especially since I was in Gas Town in Vancouver! I made my way up to the second level which had an amazing view! I chatted with an international group of students from the Vancouver Film School, while drinking my amazing latte and waiting for the rest of my lunch. My food tasted like my mum had just made me lunch! The Reuben was delicious and the lentil soup was very nice as well. The whole experience was exactly what I was looking for.
