My family ate here on a Monday expecting the usual Monday special (50% off pasta on Mondays and Tuesdays), but the restaurant had a sign on the door stating that offer wasn't applicable today because it was BC Day (local holiday). Nevertheless, we ate here and had a wonderful meal. I had spaghetti Bolognese with meatballs while my wife had penne pasta carbonara, both excellent. The daily special dessert, chocolate ca... View all feedback.
Oh, man. I can't go wrong with the pollo ciao bella. chicken and mushrooms in the most delicious freakin sauce and you have the choice of pasta.
Usually delicious, except the last time we came and the risotto was soggy and the kalbs had no taste. if they order pasta, they do not go wrong.
A 3.5-star experience. we tried the dine out vancouver menu for $40. the complementary brot should be served warm and better.
I have just moved to the area.... I cannot get enough of this place!!! Everything I try is amazing... the prices are great.... and the piano playing at night is so amazingly perfect. I have been with friends... family and solo now and I cannot find a fault. Go to this restaurant!!! I can tell you that I have had the salads... the beef carpaccio.... the pesto.... the carbonera..... the chicken parm.... it's all so good. This restaurant has been in the area for decades and I understand why.
My family visited this restaurant in July, 2017. We were staying at a hotel nearby, and were enticed into the restaurant by the promise of discounted pasta (pasta is 50% off Monday and Tuesday evenings, and everyday at lunch). We visited at approximately 6pm on a Monday, and were seated with no wait, though the groups coming in behind us were occasionally asked to wait for a short period. Service was prompt and friendly and the meals were delicious. One of our party tried the three course salmon meal and declared it to be the best salmon he had ever had. Others in our party had the veal tortellini and the fettucine alfredo. Both were excellent. Even our two year old was pleased with the meal. We loved this restaurant and considered eating there again during our week in Vancouver.
