This is the only coffee shop in Vancouver that I regularly go to. The atmosphere is awesome, very Italian : Soft Italian music playing in the background, and the place is usually quite warm. The owner, Mario, is very hospitable and often offers complimen View all feedback.
What Joelle Siemens dislikes about Caffe Rustico:
Super cute shop and staff, I only gave it 3 stars because I asked if their baked goods were fresh from today, which they said yes. However, my croissant was dry and hard at the edges. Flavour was good, but not fresh tasting. Skip the bakery items and try something made to order.Food: 2/5 View all feedback.
Great study spot but the croissants were only ok. Pictured are the pistachio strawberry croissant and almond croissantEdit: the turkey panini was really good!

We absolutely love Caffe Rustico. The coffee is amazing and the atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel like you are part of the community. They are extremely accommodating, even with last-minute event reservations. We have held our event, Reflection Cafe, there a few times. It is a gathering for individuals with various abilities and disabilities, including cognitive disabilities. Kurt and his team were so flexible and ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to utilize the entire space. We really appreciate the ambiance and would highly recommend it to others.
I've tried their carbonara and alfredo pasta in the past, but this time I had their caprese panini with prosciutto and pesto. I appreciated the garlic toast or mini pasta salad that came with it. My husband enjoyed their pizza so much that he finished it before I could ask for a bite. For gluten-free options, you can substitute pasta for rice. There are also plenty of vegetarian options available. It's a charming spot with character for a leisurely lunch. I wish there were more places like it.
