What BillOnFridays doesn't like about Bun Cha Ca Hoang Yen Vietnamese & Canadian Cuisine:
Good place for a hot bowl of soup noodle on a cold day. The flavour was on point (has MSG though) but it was good for the soul. The crab soup is a must have. It was absolutely amazing. Chicken wings were just alright, there are better places out there. It's a typical hole in the wall sort of place, but the dishes are well executed. I look forward to going back and trying other items on their menu. View all feedback. What Stephen S likes about Bun Cha Ca Hoang Yen Vietnamese & Canadian Cuisine:
The crab soup is a must try. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. Seafood lover is at the right place. Soups on the menu are all numbered. Enjoy the spicy hot chili pepper in the soup and sweat on your forehead. The portion of food is generous for its vlaue. We ordered three big bowl of soup noodles and an iced coffee and they were absolutely delicious! View all feedback.

read moreLocated in Vancouver, the Hoang Yen Restaurant offers a cozy spot to enjoy a hot bowl of soup noodle on a cold day. Known for their crab soup, this place also serves dishes like deep-fried chicken wings, bbq pork, shrimp noodle soup, fish cake noodle soup, beef skewers with taro spring rolls, and more. The quality of the food is praised, with highlights being the crab soup, fish cake soup, and fish cake vermicelli soup. While some dishes receive mixed reviews, overall, diners appreciate the well-executed meals and good value for money. The atmosphere may be typical for a Vietnamese restaurant, but the friendly service and delicious food keep customers coming back for more, even if a wait is required due to limited seating. Whether seeking a soul-warming bowl of soup or authentic Vietnamese cuisine, Hoang Yen Restaurant seems to deliver a satisfying dining experience.
