What Itzel Braun likes about Belachan Kitchen:
We went to the Belachan because of a Groupon deal, but we'll definitely return. The restaurant is located on the second floor of a building right on Robson with big windows overlooking the bustling street. The staff greeted us warmly and were attentive throughout the meal. What ნოდარი ყურაშვილი doesn't like about Belachan Kitchen:
Friends have suggested this place for lunch. Gave it a try today and not. Pressed with the food. Ordered lamb lunch special with ginger rice. The lamb portion was extremely small. The ginger rice did not look or taste fresh. Looked like overnight leftovers, reheated. The Malaysian noodle stirred fry was way too soggy and wrong sauce - it used a potato paste. Service was acceptable, but food was meh. View all feedback.

The ambiance is cozy and the staff is friendly. In short, the food was fantastic.

read moreBelachan offers a high-quality and tasty fusion of Malaysian and Thai cuisine. The warm staff and excellent dishes, such as green beans with eggplant, shrimp, and squid, make this a top choice in a bustling location on Robson Street. While some found the food less authentic or with minor flaws, the overall experience was delightful. From steaming lemongrass soup to unique satays, every dish was flavorful and satisfying. The Groupon deal was well worth it, providing an opportunity to sample a variety of delicious offerings. With generous portions and friendly service, Belachan is a must-visit for fans of Southeast Asian cuisine.
