Was Sharmay H at Bâtard Bakery a mag?
The restaurant offers delicious and freshly baked goods along with a variety of other menu items. The coffee is excellent, and the décor is charmingly French. However, the seating is somewhat limited, and having more smaller tables would better accommodate customers' needs. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Bâtard Bakery:
Used to come here for dark chocolate mocha. An experienced lady always makes a really good mocha in the past. I used to tell my friends it’s best drink here. I haven’t been back for a long time, and it was disappointing today. There were clumps of chocolate milk powder that wasn’t mixed well and the mild sweetness richness was not there. Hopefully next time will be back to normal. Food: 2 Service: 3 Service: Dine in View all feedback.
Been here a few times and all i can say is everything is consistently divine. The goat cheese scone took me by surprise as i’m not a fan of goat cheese (yeah i’m one of those people where it tastes like old cheese to me) but! it was honestly delicious. You could taste the goat cheese but all the other flavours gave it life. The ginger and carrot soup was also so so goood? And it came with two different types of large slices of bread, which were toasted and warm just right.I also reluctantly tried the mint chocolate tart because i’m trying to save money but guys…literally take my money. It was so good i want seconds. Thank you thank you for your hard work!Anyways don’t miss this gem in Vancouver! Service is exceptional and they bring your food in a timely manner, and there’s plenty of seating. Everyone eating here appears to be having a wonderful time. <3
Excellent bakery with lots of options. I ordered an almond croissant and a seedy loaf that I later used to make a sandwich at home both were perfect. Very cozy atmosphere inside as well and very kind, smiley staff.
My wonderful local French bakery Batard has knocked it out of the park once more with a ratatouille, made with herbed bread crumbs and served with a slice of market loaf. Heaven!
I come to buy a fresh Batard levian bread at the Batard bakery. Yesterday I purchased one and after cuting piece of it at home found the centre of the bread cold and wet. This bread was previously frozen and defrosted and then sold as a fresh bread. I did not know that this was a practice at this bakery since many bread I purchased there before were fresh and very good tasting.
