The place was very busy around 1PM. There is a few small tables in the restaurant but most people just take out and go. There is also fresh baguette for sale $2.75. Quite a few people bought the baguette while we were there. There was an assembly line at the preparation counter. One person does the spreading of butter pork liver pate, another fills the cold cut and other meat and the next person will fill with fresh... View all feedback.
What Margot Mohr doesn't like about Banh Mi Saigon:
Banh mi here sucks. I only come here for the dessert. I always call ahead and this is the 4th time they didn't tell me they don't have what I ordered. I made sure over the phone that they have it ready for me. instead they didn't say they don't have it, they tried to sell me the leftovers when I got there. I work in Dt and lives in coquitlam. It was out of my way. and they do this to me for the 4th time. Very pissed... View all feedback.
Really really really caressing delicious banh mis! probably the best I had in vancouver and I have eaten a lot! the french brot is freshly baked and only the correct amount of crust and chew without hurting the dach of the mouth. they are in a position to adapt their fillings (no cilantro for me! and prepare it right in front of you. have I paired this special and her pate so well with the Vietnamese ham and speck? I also have their freshly steamed rolls to try for $5, and it is a huge bungalow full of meat, vegetables, vermicelli and a whole egg! will surely come back!
Alarm! best 6 colors dessert that I had! not too sweet and great Pandan-Jelly, that is squishy and creamy. all the foods here tasted homemade. they bake their baguettes in front of place. their banh mi tastes fresh and the aromen were all good. there was a good mix of crispy veggies, pate and meat on a crispy baguette. the dac offer special banh mi was my favorite. her fresh sugar cane juice was so refreshing and one has to try! also her jumbo steamed bao was sooo good and fluffy with jumbo juicy juicy juicy juicy juicy juicy juicy juicy juicy juicy juicy juicy juicy juicy juicy juicy juicy juicy cuddy meat stuff. very satisfying vietnemese eating! be ready to row you.
Always see lineup in this banh mi shop. I can finally come here without lineup. it is at 4 o'clock on Saturday. the order was a special banh mi and a shredded swarm. both tasted excellent! the ingredients were fresh, especially the rolls were freshly baked. the load was very efficient. they took the order and asked them to wait outside so that the next customers go and order and there would be no congestions in the load. they put a loudspeaker outside the shop and called the commands so that the customers could pick up their banh mi. it is a very good and efficient way to make business. their service was also fast. customers and I didn't have to wait too long. the banh mi would be ready. the banh mi was like a foot long, so I had to share it for two meals. due to the high inflation, the pricing has risen a bit. but it is still worth buying and eating?
Amazing Bahn mis! Definitely in my top 3. I got the #1 special. The baguette was perfectly baked, soft and melts in your mouth. The outside was not too flakey and hard. Packed with meat, super long, really good. Be sure to bring cash as this place is cash only!
Love this place. Normally pretty packed but if you go in off peak hours, it is better. No service, no pretense. You put in the order, the shout things over a loudspeaker and I can't understand what they are saying. All I know is their subs are magnificent. Bread is crisp and fresh. Huge sandwich for $7. Crazy deal!
