What Judah Bashirian likes about Banana Leaf Malaysian Cuisine:
Denman Street is a very vibrant place in the evening. Located next to the beach at English Bay in Vancouver. And beaches remind us of coconut trees and seafood.Although we walked in to eat just before they were closing, our family was pleasantly surprised by the service and excellent Malaysian food. This is one restaurant we will visit again the next time we are in Vancouver View all feedback.

read moreBanana Leaf's Denman Street location used to be a favorite, but recent changes in flavor and quality have left loyal customers disappointed. Despite the restaurant being situated in a vibrant area near English Bay, with a delightful ambiance, the decrease in food standards is hard to ignore. However, the lunch platter is still a hit with its variety and affordability. Although there are some gluten-free disappointments, the Malaysian cuisine shines through in dishes like the kung pow chicken and calamari. Overall, the restaurant is still recommended for its delicious food and good service, making it a top choice in Vancouver.
