The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the presence of a homeless person who occupies a table for hours, along with other patrons who linger and socialize, can make it challenging to find seating. It is unfortunate, but there should be a maximum time limit for table occupancy. While it is understandable that customers have purchased food, it is unfair to others when they take up a table for 30 minutes or more.... View all feedback.

If you want to hang out or socialize, it is recommended to order takeout and enjoy it at home.
This is a great spot for a fast meal, with excellent service and high quality.
When A W announced the return of her “fan-favourite” Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, I was excited because I missed this “limited time” article last year. Her propaganda photos looked amazing: With a 5 ounce chicken breast marvelled with “Nashville hot glaze” and with bread butter Pickles and Mayo, the picture had reminded me of the Nashville hot chicken sandwich I had in Tennessee just a decade ago. I knew the A W version would not knock me off my feet, but would it remind me at least of the real deal? I first tried a W Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich at their West Broadway location – a unit that I regularly visit with the grandparents when they visit for medical purposes. Anyway, I will begin with what I liked: the Brioche beung was soft, and the pickles added a beautiful sweet element; but beyond that there was not much I found to rave about. What I didn't like: 1) The whole burger was very badly joined together; in fact, I had to reconstruct it after I had set myself; 2) The chicken was rather flat and dry; and, 3) Unlike the propaganda photo, the chicken breast was NOT evenly covered in the "Nashville hot glaze". Instead, it was applied very hemiphase with some here and some there. The sauce was so economical that the overall sandwich was just like a normal chicken sandwich. How disappointing! I wanted to quit after this very underwhelming experience, but then I thought I would give A W another shot. After completing a short shopping excursion in the Marine Gateway, I went to the A W in the Marine Gateway. The location of this A W is convenient: just a few steps away from CanadaLine, it is in a high traffic area – something it definitely benefits from. I came shortly after 4:30 and it was pretty busy with takeout orders. The physical space is a decent size in view of its location and mirrors most contemporary A W stores. Think of big pictures of A W golden years, bright colors and exposed pips on the ceiling. It was also nice to see some COVID barriers built between tables, although most do as if the pandemic is over. Also note: This A W has some outdoor seating that provide some beautiful views. Regarding food, I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, Fries and a frosty A W Root Beer. I have absolutely no complaints about the drink or Pommes (w/ Gravy) – it was all Vintage A W and fulfilled expectations. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, on the other hand, not to impress again. The “Nashville hot glaze” was a little more present, but still light years away from the search for the propaganda ad. It was disappointing again! FOODS: 3/5 FOODS: 4/5 RECOMMENDATION: That was difficult for me to evaluate. I usually like A W, but my only purpose here was to comment on Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and failed. I visited two outlets and got the same underwhelming result. Therefore the 3-star rating. My advice? Skip this “limited time” sandwich and stick with what this chain does well. The service at this restaurant was very poor. When I ordered through Uber today, they sent me burgers that had hair in them. When I called to complain, I didn't get a satisfactory response.
The Best Fast Food Burgers in Canada. Better than McDonald's or Wendy's. Fresh ingredients put together over the grill. You can't go wrong with A&W.
