What Percy Monahan doesn't like about Autostrada Osteria Main Street:
Focaccia huge slices but I doubt it's baked in house daily... if it is, why would you put fresh bread in the fridge. The middle of the bread was ICE COLD. FYI doesn't come with olive oil and balsamic, we were charged $1.50 for it. Burrata was ok. Maybe 3 slices of proscuitto. You can see from the plate that there was also barely any balsamic. Amazing food and wine and service. Loved this location as well as Pender. Fresh ingredients and the service was outstanding! Definitely will visit again!
The noise level was very unsettling. It seemed to be one of those restaurants that have a design flaw in that too many hard surfaces and nothing to absorb sound. There are very few tables so the noise level was not coming from other patrons. We couldn't even hear what our waitress was saying. Also, waiting outside for our table, we could see this very small and intimate space and we were so looking forward to our dinner. After we were seated we commented that the music did not seem to match our expectations for the space. All four in our party have travelled to Italy many times (and one person in our party was Italian) and it did not transport us there even though we agreed the food did.

Great cozy atmosphere with AMAZING food! I would highly recommend! Get the anchovy toast!
Both the food and service were great. Would recommend for couples or small group. Place is small but run very efficiently.
