read moreAl-Watan restaurant in Vancouver has received mixed reviews from customers. Some were disappointed by the quality of dishes like the beef Karahi and lassi. Others found the food to be excellent, with unique offerings like Cow Brain masala and good service from the friendly staff. Despite being a small and simple establishment, Al-Watan stands out for its well-prepared Pakistani/Muslim Indian fare that highlights individual spices and generous portion sizes at affordable prices. For those missing authentic South Asian cuisine, Al-Watan comes highly recommended for a satisfying dining experience, making it a standout among Vancouver's South Asian restaurants.
