We ordered for 4 people. The tea was lovely but the food was bland and nothing special. I wish we had gone to Secret Garden down the street. It was very very expensive but I suppose it's partially for the experience. View all feedback.
What Edmond Nolan doesn't like about Adonia Kerrisdale Tea House:
If you love high teas....and tea itself. I think this is a lovely place for it. The vibe is great and perfect for those who wants to Instagram! But if you're coming here for food....I would honestly have to say its pretty overpriced for what it is. Definitely have had better sandwiches and desserts elsewhere for a better price. It's honestly just for the experience of high tea. View all feedback.
We had an amazing time and everything was delicious and perfect. But WOW the table in the front by the window is tiny. We needed an auxiliary table for the tea, they had to take our plates away when the food arrived, and I couldn’t even fit my legs under the table and kind of had to sit sideways.Definitely will be back when we have the chance.
A cute cozy French-style tea house. We didn't have to wait for seats for a table of four, even though the inside was quite busy.We ordered two chocolate souffles, a panna cotta and some tea. The souffles were airy and fluffy and the tea was hot and milky. There is a candle under the tea to keep it warm; a tea strainer to keep the leaves out of your cup. They also serve lunch and sandwiches if you haven't eaten lunch yet. Overall, felt very comfortable here; staff were friendly. Would come again.
I saw and heard a great review about this Tea house and want to check it out myself. The food is delicious, great Tea selection and especially the service. I will definitely be back.Food: 5/5
I loved this little high tea spot! I went here with a girlfriend for my birthday brunch and we had the Afternoon Tea. The food was delicious, of course they’re bite sized and packed with tremendous flavour. Highly recommend checking out this gem! Super cute, great service and beautiful atmosphere.Food: 5/5
This is my favorite place to go for high tea! I have tried a couple of different ones recently and I must say this one is the best! The portions here are pretty good, but I do wish that you get both the savory sweet scone and not one, because it's delicious and I'm a pretty big eater ? I will be back every time they do a menu change. The picture I posted is from their Spring menu. I love how every item tasted freshly made, nothing was soggy or lukewarm. This was very apparent to me at some other high tea places with their cucumber and egg salad sandwiches, but Adonia has gotten that down pat! All the cold items were served cold and all the hot items were served warm. All the items that were baked stayed crispy. The lemon dill shrimp salad was fabulous. The scones were warm in the center and crispy on the outside. It's nice to go with another person so you can split your scones. Each person gets 1 (savory or sweet)There is pay parking out front but if you don't mind walking, there is lots of free parking in the side streets. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time, it is a very cosy space and you do not want to be disappointed by just walking in.I would ? , 10/10, 5????? recommended this place!
