I had pad se ew, cheap reviews seen here. I wasn't disappointed. super tasty and a large part. excellent value for money. the erdnuss sauce that came with my rolling can be the best I ever had. I'm back in a definitiw.
We tried to visit vancouver and were pleasantly surprised! they have no vegan pad thai, we have even checked twice with the server. I soon saw it as a good thing when I had to try something new and it was so good! our table had 4 different vegan dishes (pad kra prow, pad woon sen, pad priew wan, pad se ew) and they were all full of taste and amazing. I had the pad se ew and it may be my new favorite!
The last couple of times we went to Thai orchid I could taste meat in my vegan order. When asked, I was told that they cook the vegan options in the same oil and surface they cook the different meat options. The last time I tried to order, I was told that they no longer offer vegan options. The tofu is also boiled in the same surfaces and oil. That may have changed. We didn't leave. I would have given a 5 star in the past when they made vegan options. 2 stars are not vegan options. This is a very popular place with good food for not vegans.
Asked about the green curry with Tofu. Kellner asked if I wanted it to be vegan (without the fish sauce), in which case I could only get the yellow curry sauce, but I could keep all vegetables from the green curry dish. Notes that she checks with me when I wanted vegan and then offered options. The curry was delicious.
This is not a vegan place, but we had many opinions to choose from. Kellner asked us if we were vegan and gave information about which dishes were vegan and not. They were very helpful.
