Contribute FeedbackRoyal Dinette offers a mixed bag of reviews from customers who have dined there. One reviewer had a negative experience, citing a long wait for food, poorly prepared dishes, cold service, and high prices. Another reviewer had a disappointing experience with drinks and food, finding the experience depressing. On the other hand, some customers had positive experiences, praising the outstanding food, creative menu, and pleasant atmosphere. While some noted issues with service, the majority of reviewers found the food to be delicious and the overall experience enjoyable. Despite mixed reviews, Royal Dinette appears to offer a unique dining experience worth trying out.
A friend and I decided to try the family-run tasting menu in royal dinette, and we were impressed by the quality and amount of food for the money. for about $50 usd, we have eight dishes, most of which were among the higher price. the a la carte menu. it was much more food than we could eat, but we enjoyed every cure. the risotto and the chocolate mousse were particularly delicious. the other dishes were delicious, but not exceptional. the service was excellent. we were surprised to see the place almost empty on a Saturday evening (purchased, this was mid november;) I hope they start getting more business as this is a great place to go with a budget-minded group that wants to try quality, local-sourced cuisine.
On Saturday night at 18:30 clock there was only one other occupied table with two people. that should have been a great indication of staying away. I ordered a caesar and what came was a small thin glass with ice cubes, which the glass itself filled with something vodka and juice around the four ice cubes. the olives on a small floor were not even dug olives. the taste was terrible. we ordered a chicken sandwich that came with a small salad that had the worst salat dress I ever tasted. the sandwich was also not good and was usually left unleashed. we found the whole experience very depressing and could not wait to go.
We had recently dinner in this restaurant and enjoyed the experience. the service was friendly and attentive, and we liked the ambiente and decor. we ordered a few appetizers to start. the Nori butter that came with the brot was fantastic: one must. I ordered the bison and it was excellent. my man had the albacore thunfischsalat. it was a generous size and the thunfish was perfectly cooked. our friends also enjoyed their main dishes. I would return to this restaurant.
We came to dinner twice during our trip to vancouver and enjoyed delicious food at both places. think about warm, comforting eating like gnocchi, elchtare and candy tagliatelle. the service of employees very pleasant with good recommendations of craftsmen. perfect place for dinner to far. to the day. good situation would definitely return.
We came here for drinks. Their cocktails are amazing and the service was great and friendly. Such a cool place. Must visit when in Vancouver!
