What User doesn't like about Pho Green Papaya:
Food is good service was fine. However, its very disappointed the way they packed togo food. Got 3 orders pho , vermicelli plate and rice plate. They put the hot food in plastic container and its melted. Basically, i ate food with melted food. See the pictures. The plastic bag all pool of oil. They also charged every single togo order adiitional 50c for togo. View all feedback.
NEVER EAT HERE. They are STINGIEST restaurant with their portions. Our pho order wasn’t even enough to feed our 18 month old child.Food: 1/5
I went here on a date with my boyfriend, and I for one am a picky eater. But I was willing to try something new. So I let him order me something that he thinks I would like, and I didn't like it- I LOVED IT. He order me the Pad Thai and it was delicious. The way that the flavors blended together reminded me of that one scene from Ratatouille where he combines the cheese and the strawberry together.I would definitely come here again, if I had the money. It's also worth the price.P.S. They have really good smoothies11/10 would recommend.
The food here is great, easily one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the area. I go here often and the food is always consistently good and never disappoints. The reason for the 3 star is they charge .50 per item when you do togo. Never had a restaurant do that before so if you do plan to go, plan to eat in or have each item charged a “togo fee”
This is my usually go to place for Bún thịt nướng chả giò (Grilled marinated sliced pork with vermicelli noodles and egg roll). Love the falvor of the grilled pork, fortunately for them i can't find it anywhere else. This last visit was extremely disappointing, I'm not sure I'll be excited to head back any time soon. There was a sign posted when we arrived that because they were short staffed, service may be slow. We had time, it didn't seem all that busy, so no problem. It took a little while to get our food, but we were forewarned. The disappointing part was the food was barely warm and got cold quickly. So cold it was pretty much unedible. I'm sure the cooks did their job and it tasted good when it was hot, just surprised they let the food sit up there for so long or maybe they forgot to turn on the heat lamp? So disappointing, usually slow service means the kitchen can't keep up, but when it comes, it's at least hot.
Sweet and nice lady who served us was very welcoming. The inside of the restaurant feels calm and pleasant. I dined in about an hour before they were closing so they were not too busy which I liked. I ordered their beef pho. The pho is not mind blowing but if you are craving some Vietnamese beef soup this one hits the spot. Portions are good and served with plenty of meat.
