Las Flamas - Vancouver

There is nothing particularly special about Las Flamas. My husband and daughter had visited a few years ago and it wasn't too bad, so we decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, we were disappointed this time. The prices are high and the food is mediocre. The service was decent, with a server who was attentive but lacked warmth (never smiled and seemed very dry). We paid $20 for each burrito that my daughter didn't even finish, as it only contained asada, rice, beans, and cheese. We won't be returning and I do not recommend this place for authentic Mexican cuisine. The prices wouldn't be such an issue if the food was better.

This restaurant is absolutely awful! It definitely ranks among the worst restaurants I have ever been to in my long life. The food is soggy and lackluster, and does not resemble authentic Mexican cuisine at all. However, if you're looking to drink, this is the place for you. The waiters bring ridiculously large bowls of alcohol that often spill onto the floor. The seating arrangements are bizarre, with random tables placed in the middle of the space with both sides open. The food is served in unappetizing portions and swimming in a thick sauce. To make matters worse, the prices are extremely high. I would not recommend eating at this place under any circumstances.

The service is always super fast here. very friendly and attentive waiting staff. eat tastes like any other Mexican restaurant (they all seem like me) and do the margaritas.

Saw this Mexican restaurant today and we decided to stop. It felt like I was once again traveling outside the States. The staff was so friendly and prompt. Then the food and drinks were so fast and the quality was excellent. I will make this my new home away from home place to ear. Thank you for wonderful service tonight Las Flamas(Juan). You have now a customer for life. See ya in a week.
