The atmosphere is described as vibrant, offering a taste of Mexico with generous portions of delicious food and a fun salsa bar. Although there may be some wait times and small space concerns, many diners find it worth it for the authentic taste of Mexican cuisine in LA. Overall, Salsa and Beer seems to be a popular choice for those looking for a flavorful Mexican dining experience.
For years we come here, eating and service were always excellent. her drowning is imo one of the best I had. the personal is friendly and attentive, the prices are great for the huge portions they receive. the only negative things are, the waiting times, whether they dip or take out (but it is worth waiting) and parking, which is terrible, but still wait or park on the road.
Best carne asada I've ever tasted. beautiful size components, no fat, they can taste the smoke as soon as they put it in the mouth.
Best rice I ever had. platz was amazing. huge fajita burrito. delicious avocado salsa
30 minutes waiting that should be from 20 minutes max. when in many tables were empty and long wait outside. customer service was good, eating was very good, large portions, chips are good, woman said the beans that come with the chips are good. small parking spaces, but street parking is available. you will be back
I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet as I have been multiple times over the years. I would say they have the best Mexican food in the valley. The salsa bar is currently closed due to Covid but they bring it by request to the table. The bean dip they bring with the chips is fire. A little spicy, but delicious. I ordered a blended strawberry margarita. They are wine based as I don't believe they have hard liquor but still just as good. The fajitas are a popular pick. This time around, I got the shrimp fajitas and my partner got a chicken quesadilla. There tends to be a bit of a wait at time but I promise you, it's worth it.
