Coco's Famous Hamburgers - Van Nuys

Coco's was charming. My group was on the hunt for a breakfast spot in the area and the inviting sign caught our attention among the rundown signs in Ventura. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was tasty, and the portions were generous. While it wasn't terrible, I doubt I'll return. The breakfast menu was limited and the restaurant seemed unclean; we had to ask for our table to be wiped and our silverware to be replaced.

Wow... the service and food are amazing at this restaurant. We tried the delicious Burrito and our waitress Marlene was so friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We would definitely come back for Marlene, she is the sweetest!

I paid $13 for this small salad, which is supposed to serve 4 people according to the menu. However, it was tasteless and more like a small snack for that price. The chicken kids' meal came with only 2 small portions and tiny drinks. I had to ask the server to fill the cups properly as they were only filled halfway when they were served to me.

Love coming here all the time, hands down one of the best places for breakfast. due to covid they only did pick up or delivery. I will command them on there accuracy quality. i ordered about for 6 meals and they were ready in less than 30 minutes and most importantly accurate. we called that we were here and they quickly came out with our food. Personal nothing beats there lumberjack. So much delicious food for an amazing price.

The place needs a new cook and a new manager. Milton does not know how to manage the restaurant. The cook does not know how to make steak. I don't expect you have my steak cooked to perfection at such cheese restaurant, but when you order medium well, I don't expect the steak to come BURNED, really, it was burned. I never sent a steak back in my life, but the steak was like a piece of coal. After everyone in my party was done eating, the new steak arrived, rare to medium rare. By that time, I lost my appetite and just left the steak on the plate. Still, they made sure to charge me for it. Now to the review. The place is dirty. Very dirty. Nasty floors, tables, sits, you get the idea. The Tabasco sauce was found as in the picture, empty, with added water. I asked for another one... Also came with added water. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the waitress who was actually really good, however, the cook is terrible, no one from our party of 8 liked the food, and the manager of the place... Wow, should never be in that position. What a shame. Coco's used to be nicer. Because of this experience, I will never try it again.
