It is what it says it is a cozy social house serving up some southern comfort foods. The food was excellent and priced reasonably. Dessert and after dinner drinks did not disappoint and you may not want to share as they were so good! The waiter was prompt, knowledgeable and attentive. Would definitely recommend and return. A warm, cozy beacon of light, warmth, and most importantly delicious food and drink in the tiny town of Valley Ford. Walk past the locals with their tales of lore, imbibing cider from apples that fell not a hundred yards away, and arrive at a the bustling dining room where friendly service delivers piping hot plates of Southern comfort flavors. Why this place doesn’t have a Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction is a mystery. Try one of everything, and definitely inhale a plate or two of the most scrumptious beignets outside of New Orleans.
Was not expecting everything we tried was absolutely delicious..if I were cooking for myself I couldn't pay attention to all the small details you can't cut or speed up ..the chef is amazing thank you brother for such a delight !!! Sincerely KDP
Really excellent Cajun food and delicious drinks. Shrimp and grits and begniets are amazing.
Took my parents, best meal we have had in a long time. GF options are amazing. We will be back !!
The food and drinks were exceptional, and the staff were fantastic. However, the dining room had a strong odor from the fryers, which was a bit disappointing. I would definitely return, but I hope to sit at the bar or outside if the weather isn’t too cold.
