Ramen Gaijin - Sebastopol

This place is an absolute favorite for my wife and I. Consistently great Service and Food! You can't go wrong with their namesake, Ramen. I always enjoy their Spicy Tantanmen Ramen, so much so that I order a quart of their broth to-go to keep in thefreezer for a quick dinner. But the rest of the menu is delicious as well! The Tsukemono pickle plate and Kara-age CrispyChicken with Miso Ranch are an amazing way to start any meal. Their Little Gem Salad rotates seasonally and is always worth atry, and currently features Pickled Beets and Smoked Trout with Nori Crisps. Give them a try!

Amazing flavors and creative, original presentation of a variety of inspired Japanese inspired dishes. The ramen is amazingly fresh, rich and flavorful, or try one of the donburi rice bowls with awesome flavor combinations. Great, creative mixed drinkoptions to complement the food selections. The place has an awesome, casual urban fine dining vibe too... I could just as easilysee this place in downtown SF, LA or Chicago as in Sebastopol!

I was blessed to be able to try so many of their dishes. This was my first time here and I loved it all. All the dishes in my photos were each so different and had their own unique vibe. They were all memorable. I went for lunch on the weekend andcwe satoutdoors. Our server was attentive polite and answered any questions we had about the menu items. The location is good withparking near by. If you haven't tried their food you should go asap.

If you know, you know. Six years ago, we happened upon this fine establishment was blown away by the complex deep flavers. That was so beautifully plated. When we drove away in bliss, still reminiscing about our experience. We forgot to write anything down. We were lost but now we have found it again. I come here for the ramen but it's sadly the weakest thing on the menu. I've had every variety and spicy is the most well rounded and flavorful option. The shoyu is insanely salty and somehow paired with wakame, which doesn't create a good balance. The vegetarian is just bland and sad. Their donburi are very good and a kind of Korean Japanese fusion. Cocktails are unique and flavorful. For the price I do expect more of a consistent quality with the menu items. Overall food is okay, service is great.
