This bakery has a serious problem with its work ethic. Santiago and Cristina, the supervisors, are particularly bad. They overwork staff and treat them as if they are worthless. It's disheartening to see that so many people have allowed this level of discrimination to persist. Many of the employees are undocumented and face threats of being fired from Santiago and Cristina. They are even coerced into silence, warned that if they speak to the owners about these issues, they will lose their jobs or have their hours cut. I sincerely hope that justice is served soon, and that the labor commission steps in, or better yet, that both supervisors face legal consequences for their atrocious treatment of employees. It's truly disheartening when owners entrust such careless individuals with the responsibility of managing hardworking employees, making them feel small and voiceless due to their legal status.
Horrible and un-ethical custumer service . I call to ask what time they closed, the guy told me at 9. when I ask if they had Russian cookies he replied with the bad taste joke and hang up. If they treat potential customers like that thru the phone, can't imagine how careless they work making the cookies.
My late father, Carl Spieckerman, had a special fondness for these cookies. They come in a wonderful assortment of flavors and are absolutely delicious!
I have been attempting to reach out to the team at The Graceful Cookie for more than two weeks. As an 83-year-old resident of the California VA Home in Yountville, CA, I would like to send some of their Oatmeal Raisin cookies to my friends for the upcoming seasons. However, despite sending multiple emails, I haven’t received any response. I’m also having trouble placing an order online. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to contact me at [hidden email]. Thank you!
