The menu del dia comes with a fantastic variety and substantial portions which left us all very content. Even if you’re not after lunch I would recommend visiting for a drink to get away from the crowded centre and indulge in what is easily the best view in the whole town! El Risco is a must when visiting Orbaneja del Castillo!

We remembered t... read more We had visited Orbaneja del Castillo thoroughly. It's a village surrounded by mountains that seem more like a natural fortress. We were thirsty. We remembered the sign of this restaurant, so we trekked to this place. They had refreshing Fanta narange. In their menu they offered a large salad with tomatoes, onions, asparagus, eggs and olives. Delicious! The asparagus with 2 sauces was delightful as well! However, the best part of being there, was the view on the mountains. The owner was quite busy. He served well, but didn't have much time to talk with us. However, when we left, their kids were ambushing us for fun. Growling at us. We growled back and they laughed. They were in a play mode. Cool!
