What Sanka1 doesn't like about King S' Arms:
We visited this pub for lunch while out in Oxford with friends and it was good. The pub is obviously crowded all the time due to closeness to all the tourist locations in Oxford so it was a bit difficult finding a table. The food service was extremely slow, I mean in the vicinity of 45mins to get 4 mains but the food tasted ok. We did enjoy the time we got to talk while the food came through. Recommend for a meal if... View all feedback. What User likes about King S' Arms:
I visited this restaurant during the day when there was plenty of seating available. I could also picture it being crowded in the evening with students enjoying each other's company and having drinks. The burgers and fries we ordered were only warm, so make sure to specify your preference when ordering. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and a charming, traditional British pub. read moreA charming traditional British pub with good atmosphere and service, but plagued by issues with cleanliness, food quality, and service inconsistencies. Despite the lovely ambiance and friendly staff, patrons have complained about dirty and outdated toilets, subpar food quality, and lackluster service experiences. Some have praised the delicious house specials and gluten-free options, while others have been disappointed by overpriced, microwaved-prepared meals. Overall, the pub seems to be hit or miss, with some enjoying a great time, while others vow to never return. Recommended for a drink, but not necessarily for a meal.
This is a famous and picturesque pub. eating was quite common, but the service was excellent and very fine beer.
