The Salty Snapper: Oyster Live Venue

Great service, sat at the bar where we were treated great. Tender recommended drinks that were delicious food very nice. The fish, wahoo, could've been cooked just a bit less. It was super as it was with the best veggies alongside.

Enjoyed the captains platter with shrimp and grouper. Both cooked perfectly and the cheese grits accompanying were spot on. Not overly salty but seasoned well enough i only added a little black pepper. Service was great as well.

My wife and I sat at the outside bar and had chips and salsa as well as oysters. A+. Our bartender was Michael and another A+. Had a great time. Who ever owns this place your staff is ? perfect. Please open a place near Liberty County, Texas.

Arrived for dinner was seated pretty quickly. Waitress was more concerned about another table of friends then she was taking our order. Ordered 1/2 dozen oysters and when they came out they were all smaller than a quarter (no Exaggeration) on the menu it states that you have a choice of oysters location and of course I choose oysters out of Florida?s coast. The rest of the Appetizers came out after the main course. Both Main courses and appetizer were lukewarm at best and the hush puppies were burnt. Have visited this location one other time and the service and food was great but needless to say we won?t be back.

Food was delicious! I ordered the salmon with corn and fries. We also ordered the shrimp which was great as well. We had the loaded queso dip as an appetizer and it was good! The only thing that we were not pleased with was our alcoholic beverages (strawberry fields), it tasted like a watered down sprite. Definitely will not order that again. Other than that everything was great. Waitress was very nice. Overall pretty good experience
