We're new in town and staying nearby. I have read the reviews and well everyone has an opinion. Our experience was very positive and good. I'm from Southern California and of Latin descent have to put that out there. So needless to say the salsa and chips was pretty good. My husband enjoyed his fajitas and I had a steak burrito and the meat was tender. It was very filling and this place is not expensive at all. Again... View all feedback.
What DrTiffany I doesn't like about El Toreo Mexican:
Jakharil thank you for attempting to make the experience, an experience. But, unfortunately the reviews are true. The way the host behaved, I could not bring myself to actually order something to eat fearful my food would be adulterated, she was extremely confrontational. Then, a skinny margarita does not consist of sour mix, they do not know what a skinny margarita is. I dont know what is going on in this establishm... View all feedback.
I did 4 starts because the food was good and it came out relatively fast. I got shrimp chimichanga and my husband got chicken chipotle. The one thing I'll say is after we got our food it took a second to get our waiter back. The staff was real nice they put baseball on for us and it was nice speaking Spanish and English!
The food sucks. Never again. This is a chili rellono, not. Enchiladas with no sauce. Do not eat here if you want good food.
Don't listen to the bad reviews! We walked inside was greeted with a huge smile/hello from the hostess! The bartender is awesome was patient with me at helping me order the margarita I'm used to back home. Place is clean love the music playing in the background.
Really craving Mexican food but I have to say that other than the server the experience at this restaurant was far from enjoyable. I should of known there was an issue when I walked in and the hostess tried to sit us at a table with a tub full of dirty dishes in the booth and food on the table. She left us standing in the middle of the aisle waiting for the busser to wipe the table. There were many tables still open so another hostess who was upset at the situation grabbed the menus and moved us to a different table. The server then came to our table to assist. She was pleasant and again was the best part of the experience although she was new and did not know the menu well. We ordered our food, which then came out looking nothing like what the pictures on the menu showed and also was cold. Then my work partner who was with me had to leave partly through the meal because she got sick. Needless to say I will look for another Mexican restaurant when in the area. The 2 stars were only because the server did great for it being her first day.

Then, a skinny margarita does not consist of sour mix, they do not know what a skinny margarita is. I dont know what is going on in this establishment but it is not about service, good times or good food. But, at the end of the day no matter what Jakharil was tipped for service not how good/bad the food was because THAT PART, was out of his control. But yaw restaurant is terrible. Cant wait until yelp starts allowing zero stars. But, then again, if they do that consumers will see no rating and think it's positive.
