Good portions of the best corned beef and home fries this side of Montreal. If you get there at the right time the chips are perfect but they are always at least good. The pickle and cole slaw are terrirfic. Not too salt or vinegary. Plus the place is hangout for locals of all kinds. Lots of regulars and great people watching through front windows. You will find us there whenever we go to town. View all feedback.

Excellent food and service. The host speaks great English and is very forthcoming translations for menu items and recommendations.

Quand j'ai le goût d'un club sandwich accompagné de frites maison, j'aime aller chez Valentine de Val-d'Or. Je ne suis pas déçue de la nourriture et l'ambiance est agréable. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir avec les employées (blagues, fous rires).
It had been 20 years since I ate at a Valentine restaurant...but it tasted the same and brought back some good memories. Their poutine is THE best :)
