I divorced here. Spectacular feeling at home, authentic Art Sushi Restaurant. Pros: excellent selection, perhaps the best somewhere outside of Denver. Excellent fish, unsurpassed. Cons: extremely expensive. More than most sushi facilities I was on. Great service, they know what they do. As long as you're ready to spend, do it. I'm going back.

I love this minimalist sushi place. A total of 5 stars for the extraordinary food and great service, but I'm sorry that I strongly think that their $5 miso soup is out and not taste like miso soup. We sat at the bar and really enjoy seeing the chefs that make sushi and rolls, very impressive. We could ask for a roll that is not in the menu. You're making California with real crab meat I've never had. While it is expensive here, I found that it is worth the price (except the miso soup).

This place is the real deal. Small and away, you would never know that it was there that makes the experience special. The sushi is so fresh and perfected, it is almost incomprehensible. The menu has always changing options based on flew in fresh from Japan when you come here regularly, it is fun to try different things! It's expensive. And a fair weather sushi fan may not understand or appreciate this place, but if you are a connoisseur, you are now in knowledge.

What an amazing authentic Japanese sushi ya! The chefs are very friendly and the service is also great, but most sushi is comparable to all high-end sushi restaurants in NYC or LA. Everything tastes very fresh and well balanced, and they have a variety of fish for sushi or sashimi. You need to call a day ahead to make a reservation and it can be hard to get a place in high season, but definitely a must go if you love authentic sushi and sashimi.

Before coming here I have never tasted sushi so fresh. Every fish had a different ocean-like flavor that was great. I admit that the prices are high $30-80 for a roll but we went for a different culinary experience. Call for reservations and try to sit at the sushi counter. If you are looking for an everyday $10 california roll- this is not your place.

This hidden gem of a sushi restaurant in Vail offers an unforgettable culinary experience for sushi connoisseurs. The fresh and perfectly prepared sushi, along with the changing menu options based on the freshest ingredients flown in from Japan, make this place a must-visit. While the prices may be on the higher side, the quality of the food and service justify it. The authentic Japanese atmosphere, friendly chefs, and outstanding selection of fish for sushi or sashimi set this restaurant apart from others. From the impeccable nigiri to the extraordinary chef's choice selections, every dish here is a delight. Whether you're indulging in the Salmon shrimp roll or soft shell crab rolls, or opting for the omakase, each bite is a flavorful experience that leaves you beyond satisfied. While the prices may be steep, the exceptional quality and service make this restaurant a top choice for those seeking an authentic and top-notch sushi experience.

Hands down the best omakase I’ve had. We let the chef guide our experience and am really glad we did. Amazing, thank you!

This is an exceptional, Japanese owned sushi bar featuring top quality fish flown in regularly. It’s is like a fine sushi place you’d find in Tokyo. While prices are high, they aren’t much different from much less outstanding restaurants in the area. Parking: Use the main Vail garage: free in summer and in winter free after 3

Amazing service and sushi! The fish is some of the best and freshest tasting I have ever had, and the chef comes up to you throughout the meal to make sure you are enjoying it. And with only a few tables, the atmosphere is quiet and private. If you like sushi and want to try real wasabi, I could not recommend a better spot!

Must try sushi place if you’re in the Vail ski area. Sushi chefs were Japanese. The sushi literally melts in your mouth. Loved their spicy rolls it wasn’t filled with those tempura bits other sushi place uses as fillers. The fish was so so fresh. I wouldn’t go anywhere else except this place next time I’m in Vail. The servers were also knowledgeable and kind.

Fantastic attention to detail and very fresh sushi. Handrolls are crunchy and delicious.

All I'll say is: we paid a pretty penny for undercooked chicken. Horrible service by hibachi chef. Steamed rice didn't make to our table until I was almost done with the meat, waiter kept bumping into my sleeping baby's stroller. Pretty much one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had!

We ordered edamame as well, but it was a bit overcooked and lacked enough salt. This might seem like a random complaint given my review of the soup, but it’s still worth mentioning. On the bright side, the service was good, and the ambiance was cute. Seriously, someone should consider opening a pho restaurant in Vail—that’s my best suggestion!

We received excellent service in a wonderfully ambient environment. The staff were very friendly. We ordered the sashimi deluxe, shrimp tempura, and massaman curry to share. The owner was incredibly nice and sweet. The service was prompt. My favorite dish was the massaman curry; it had a lovely sweet flavor without being too spicy. If you prefer a spicier dish, just let them know—they're happy to accommodate. Although we didn’t try the hibachi, the group next to us seemed to be having a fantastic time!

In terms of food, I ordered a house salad, salmon sashimi, yellowtail, shrimp, and crab stick. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. Sushi lovers will be pleased! The restaurant also features large hibachi tables for families and groups, which can make it a bit noisy. However, it has all my favorite Japanese dishes, so I’ll definitely be coming back!

Came here on my own and was overwhelmed by how friendly the staff was I ordered a spicy salmon roll and a salmon hand roll which were both beyond delicious!! The sushi chef prepared me a special item since I sat at the bar which included salmon tataki over rice with some special sauce. (Super fresh and savory then I ended the night with a take sunomono to go. In and out so fast and service was on point. I paired my sushi with a glass of wine (cheap and decent when I paid the server made sure I enjoyed myself and encouraged me to come back the next day! Although this place is a little bit hidden (up a flight of stairs and to the right it's worth finding. A gem in the sea of restaurants and bars that make up vail. 100% recommended they also have some awesome hibachi tables. Although I did not attend, I got a sneak peak of the show from the sushi bar and was awfully impressed :
