Description

La Bottega has become a go-to spot for both locals and visitors in the Vail Valley. Originally a deli and sandwich shop, it has evolved into a top dining destination. Chef Stephen Virion brings his experience from working in Tuscany and the Veneto regions of Italy to create authentic Italian cuisine. His wife, Elisabetta, curates a wine list to perfectly complement the dishes. The wine bar is a perfect spot for apres ski or a casual catch-up session with friends. Don't miss out on our renowned sandwiches and stone oven pizzas.

We had a wonderful meal with great ambiance and excellent service! This restaurant offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience that we will definitely return to in the future.

We have been frequenting Alpenrose for many years. The service was outstanding and the outdoor setting was lovely. However, we were disappointed with the food. The pork schnitzel was extremely tough, requiring a lot of effort to cut with a knife. On the positive side, the gazpacho and mashed potatoes were very tasty. The rosti could have been crisper. Additionally, some of the serving dishes appeared to be quite worn. Perhaps it was just an off day for the restaurant?

Very good food and service. Unfortunately, we were seated in a room with two tables of adults with small kids. The three kids at the one table closest to us were very loud and not well behaved and the parents just didn’t care.

Such a great restaurant. Been here 3-4 times now and everything has been delicious. This time was lunch and I had the mushroom soup and mushroom soup followed by a perfect espresso macchiato. Service was professional, prompt and friendly. Nice wine list. I look forward to my next visit!
