Sadly, the... read more I had a quite disappointing dining experience at the Grand Hyatt. Considering the hotel's upscale reputation in Vail, I anticipated much better food. Sadly, the quality was below that of an average restaurant. The dishes suffered from inconsistent seasoning; the wings were too salty, while the pasta was completely lacking in salt. The fish was undercooked and cold, making it difficult to cut. To make matters worse, the sauce for the fish was also excessively salty. The Wagyu beef burger was only mediocre. The only dish that was reasonably good was the half chicken.

From the time our waiter Travis introduced himself the service and experience exquisite. He was informative and friendly and made awesome recommendations. The food came out absolutely delicious. From the squash salad , Pretzels bread , Lemon Thyme Chicken with lentils and butternut squash to the cherry tart with cream cheese ice. Just amazing. ????????????????????????????????????????Thank you Travis for the amazing service . ??????????????

It ended up being a delightful surprise!... read more We decided to dine at the Gessner Steakhouse because it was convenient, as we were staying at the Grand Hyatt in Vail. It ended up being a delightful surprise! Our server, Galo, was exceptional. He recommended dishes that were different from our usual choices, but we took a chance and they turned out to be delicious. Galo was attentive to our needs throughout the meal. We sat outside with a view of the river, which added to the overall enjoyable experience. It was definitely a memorable dining experience.

Crab tator tots were a fun combination. Definitely worth trying. The green beans were excellent. The restaurant seems to have a pretty good crew in the back of house. Challenged a bit on the front. I probably would not go again and spend that money. Bummer since I'm a Globalist with Hyatt...
