El Sabor - Vail

Yikes. Kitchen needs help with their food. Ordered tacos and I thought I was eating a cardboard box. Staff was mediocre.

We had house margaritas, chips and queso, Rodeo Burger, El Diablo Burger, and Shrimp/Ribeye tacos. All were excellent. Servers were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

The Jalapeno Cucumber margarita here is my favorite. It's with the trek over when you're in Vail. It's right next to the Lionshead gondola. Also there's a duck quesadilla that comes with Jam that's great.

While I can't comment on the atmosphere or food, I can definitely comment on the customer service. After reaching out multiple times to confirm for a party of 26 people, and being called impatient (by sarah), this staff and management confirmed our party, only to tell us we were out of luck with no reservation, come the day of our dinner. Terrible communication throughout management and staff, and even worse customer service to fix a problem that was created by their own incompetent management staff. I would check out blue moose pizza though, they were fantastic and super accommodating after el sabor dropped the ball, broke it, and spit it back in our face. 0 stars if I could.

Great food, great location, great pricing, amazing happy hour. Edwin, the manager and bartender was extremely nice. The food was great, the drinks were stiff. Can't recommend enough.
