Now called Enna Rasam, it is a self service restaurant, with an AC dining area which has table service. Get down at Ruby Hall Metro station and you'll find this place just adjacent to the station. The food is fresh and tasty. If you are in the area and craving for some veg south indian fare, this place won't disappoint. View all feedback.
One of my favorite restaurants to go to...! Excellent quality of South Indian food that is lip-smackingly tasty!! Price is reasonable and quantity is enough per plate for a person. My favorites are dahi-wada, wada-sambar, and special thali. Filter coffee is to die for!! I take it the way it is mde, i.e. low in sugar. It's a bit bitter, but South Indian filter coffee is like this...refreshing!!
Yummy idli sambar and dosa center. As the name 'sambar ' describe its speciality. They serve(self service) the dishes with sambar, red chutney and green chutney. It was nice experience. Upma was also good.
The place is very nice and clean and very simple, don't expect plush interiors. The stag is very good and modest. Food was very nice and authentic South Indian and so was the tea. Pune people who are used to typical tastes of hotels like Vaishali and Rupali might not like here unless they are foodies, because though the taste is very authentic and good their tastebuds might not accept the new tastd. Highly recommended place otherwise. PLEASE NOTE : THIS IS SAID SERVICE PLACE BASED ON TOKEN SYSTEM.
Sambar is the newest addition to Pune-Satara road and it certainly does live up to it. Their menu is pocket friendly and the portions are certainly filling. The filter coffee is a must try when you go there. And so are the Mangalore buns. The decor is simple and they have self service. Ventilation can be improved as it's the beginning of summer and due to large crowds it does get stuffy here. But the food is great. The butter masala dosa was great, too. Overall, a must visit place.
Sambar : The Aroma of South As the name suggests, this place is authentic south indian restaurants with multiple South Indian cuisines. We tried their upma, idli sambar and wada sambar. Upma was okay. Idli was soft and spongy. Sambar was consistent and chutney was also yum. Vadas were best. Crispy crunchy from outside and soft from inside. Big Thumbs up to this place. Must try if you are south indian breakfast lover.
