Vacheres is unbelievably beautiful, quite lovely. Miles and miles from anywhere with tiny cobbled streets but money seems to coming in with a fair bit of renovation, 2 lovely churches and a number of properties for sale and quite unbelievable views in almost all directions. Worth the visit or even a stay (but not many piscine’s). And a central cafe, les Lavandes, which doubles as a shop. Don,t know when other reviews... View all feedback.

I recommend! a great welcome, nice plates with local and home products. small sunny terrace only for us at noon in the week
We have been very welcome in this friendly and unpretentious country bistro. Lamb mouse with its dauphinois gratin was delicious and the perfect dessert. We'll go back!
