Contribute Feedback What Angela G doesn't like about Nebula On Main Lounge Eatery:
Tried going for a birthday dinner with the girls. The images of food here looked pretty good. Showed up around 8 and they wanted a $15 cover charge to get in for dinner. I was immediately turned off just based on principle. I'm trying to come in your establishment and eat and give you money. Not sure how they expect to survive with this business model. But it was pretty evident no one else was paying that to get in e... View all feedback.
Salsa night was a blast! There was no cover charge, and the dancing area was spacious since it wasn't overly crowded. Plus, there were delicious street tacos right outside! What more could you ask for?
I can't give any stars to this place. I had made an online reservation for dinner at 6:30 PM on a Saturday, but when we arrived, we discovered they were closed for a party that had apparently been going on all night. This is clearly not a valid excuse; the management is failing to maintain the standards of this establishment. We were unaware that the venue seemed to operate more like a nightclub. Based on some reviews we read, we genuinely thought it would be a promising new addition to the farm-to-fork scene in Vacaville. We are extremely disappointed and will NOT be coming back. They could definitely benefit from some guidance from John Taffer—if you’re not familiar with him, check out Bar Rescue. That’s all I have to say.
This place had the vibe of a club for teenagers, and I found it quite disappointing overall. The drink options were limited to just Modelo beer, which was a letdown. I wouldn't recommend this establishment. To make matters worse, both restrooms had clogged toilets, which made for an unpleasant experience.
I was looking forward to finding a club in Vacaville, but sadly, the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. On the plus side, the drinks were quite potent, though the harsh, bright lights were a strain on my eyes. It’s possible I just chose an off night to visit; the music mostly consisted of top 40 hip hop, but many of the songs felt mismatched and didn’t really create a cohesive vibe.
I decided to take the girls out for a birthday dinner and was drawn in by the mouthwatering food photos I had seen online. We arrived around 8 PM, only to discover there was a $15 cover charge just to get in for dinner. I was immediately turned off by this—it felt unreasonable, especially since we were there to dine and spend money. I can't fathom how they think this model will sustain their business. It was obvious that no one else was willing to pay that fee either, as the place was completely empty. $15 just to enter a restaurant in dull Vacaville? Plus, they close at midnight? No, thank you! We ended up heading down the street to an Italian restaurant and ended up spending $290 on dinner instead.
