What Jessica Makanjuola doesn't like about Que Onda Taco:
This place is a copy of Chipotle. I tried the California burrito and found it to be just okay—not terrible, but quite bland. The fries were cold, the guacamole was cold, and the chicken was lukewarm. It was also a bit messy to eat. My wife ordered two tacos—one with smoked brisket and the other with al pastor. The smoked brisket tasted like boiled shredded beef, which was a disappointment. Overall, it felt overpriced... View all feedback.

Great variety of Mexican dishes available, including Beyond Beef as a protein option.
There's nothing particularly special to mention. It's a decent place.
We ordered three mulas filled with chicharrón, tinga, and al pastor, along with two tacos using al pastor and carnitas, a refreshing horchata, and a jamaica drink, plus a side of guacamole. The fresh-pressed tortillas made right in front of you are a highlight—quickly prepared and perfectly soft and warm. The mulas were excellent, topped with melted cheese, and we added meat for extra flavor. The tacos were a decent size, though at four dollars each, I felt they could be a bit larger. The al pastor was flavorful, the carnitas were crispy, and the chicharrón was delightfully crispy without being dry. However, the standout dish was definitely the tinga; it stole the show! As for the drinks, both were delicious. The horchata was fantastic and generous with cinnamon, while I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the jamaica, despite being usually indifferent to it. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by and giving this place a try!
